DR cast iron cylinder kit Ø
47 mm, 75 cc, for Vespa 50 and Ape 50, developed as a replacement
for the original cylinder to obtain a more responsive and
smoother-running engine while maintaining a simple and reliable
setup. The transfer port design allows improved cylinder filling,
resulting in increased torque and a livelier performance compared
to the original.
Compatible with the original 43
mm stroke crankshaft, the kit allows direct installation with no
crankcase machining required. Supplied complete with cylinder head
and gaskets, ready to install and suitable for those looking for a
basic tuning upgrade without complications.
The DR cylinder stands out for
its robustness and long service life, offering a good balance
between performance and reliability. For further performance
improvements, it can be combined with a racing crankshaft, larger
carburetor, variable-advance electronic ignition, longer gear
ratios, reinforced clutch and suitable exhaust.
