This Polini cast iron cylinder
with a 57.5 mm diameter piston and 115 cc displacement is
interchangeable with the original cylinder fitted on Vespa 50 N, 50
L (Lusso), 50 R (Rinnovata), 50 Special, 50 Revival, 50 PK, 50 PK
S, 50 PK XL and Ape 50.
Compared to the standard
cylinder, this kit features revised transfer ports, designed to
provide improved engine responsiveness and a more lively throttle
response, with an output of approximately 9.8 hp.
Vespa 50 and Ape 50 are
originally equipped with a 43 mm stroke crankshaft, and this kit
can be installed without replacing the original crankshaft.
The cylinder is supplied
complete with cylinder head and gaskets, ready for installation,
and does not require specific technical skills, making installation
simple and accessible.
To achieve even higher
performance, it is possible to combine the kit with a racing
crankshaft.
The main features of this
cylinder kit are high torque output and controlled fuel
consumption.

Further improvements can be
achieved by combining a larger carburetor, variable-advance
electronic ignition, longer gear ratios, a reinforced clutch and a
